چکیده
One challenge of the EU energy transition is integration renewable electricity generation in distribution system. law proposes a possible solution by introducing “citizen communities” (Directive 2019/944/EU) which may be open for “cross-border participation”. This article an innovative way implementing such cross-border communities linking systems via “switchable element”, generation, storage, or consumption asset with connection to each country. An optimization model has been developed calculate system cost savings connection. Linking regions complementary characteristics regarding and demand switchable element leads more efficient utilization. Findings are relevant transposition national laws.

Decomposition Analysis of Energy Intensity Changes in Industries at the Provincial Level in Iran: Average Distribution of Cross Changes Approach
In this paper energy intensity changes in industries of Iran as a whole and for each province separately have been calculated in the period of 2005-2019. These changes are divided to structural and efficiency effects by using average distribution on the amount of changes in cross method. The results show that during this period, energy intensity has increased throughout the country and in all p...
متن کاملQuantifying System-Level Benefits from Distributed Solar and Energy Storage
Microgeneration using solar photovoltaic (PV) systems is one of the fastest growing applications of solar energy in the United States. Its success has been partly fueled by the availability of net metering by electric utilities. However, with increasing solar PV penetration, the availability of net metering is likely to be capped. Households would then need to rely on distributed storage to cap...
متن کاملSri Lanka Energy Supply Status and Cross Border Energy Trade
Energy supply in Sri Lanka is mainly based on three primary sources, namely hydroelectricity, biomass and petroleum. The supply from each of these sources is such that 11percent is attributable to hydroelectricity, 55 percent to biomass and 34 percent to petroleum oil products. Fuel-wood and other biomass such as coconut residues, paddy husks and sawdust are largely used for domestic cooking ac...
متن کاملPower Distribution Development and Optimization of Hybrid Energy Storage System
In this paper, the development and optimization of Power Distribution Control Strategy (PDCS) have been performed for a Hybrid Energy Storage Systems (HESS) of a Series Hybrid Electric Bus (SHEB). A common PDCS is based on the use of Ultra-Capacitor (UC) pack. A new simple PDCS is developed as a battery based one. For the battery based PDCS, four parameters ar...
